Get your plan in place. For yourself, for family and for friends
Take control of your life and death decisions. Know your options. Make your choices. Leave instructions. Stay in charge. Right till the end. And, in the meantime, live life to the full.
The approach
We have all heard nightmare stories of anguish that can arise when people do not have wills, powers of attorney or advance decisions in place. Families can be torn apart and scars can last for generations. As an accredited end of life plan facilitator I will support you to put together a modern, comprehensive end of life plan. This will give you the peace of mind that comes with knowing that your wishes are documented and shared, and save friends and family time, money and most of all stress.
Giving you time and space to consider what really matters to you.
Does your will reflect your current wishes?
Can your family speak for you if you can't?
Has someone you trust got access to your passwords and digital assets?
Do they know your wishes for your funeral or life celebration?
What medical and personal care do you want or not want?
Have you considered what your personal legacy will be?
Do you need practical support after the death of someone?
I have spent over forty years managing people and organisations including transforming London’s oldest almshouse to provide innovative solutions for people in their later years. This work, together with personal experience, opened my eyes to the need for a modern and pragmatic approach to planning for this vital chapter of our lives. With accredited training and encyclopaedic knowledge of all aspects of End of Life issues, I have developed a flexible but systematic and bespoke approach to suit your situation. I can support you with empathy and professionalism to get your affairs in order and know that you are fully prepared for whatever is ahead.

Planning Ahead for the Inevitable
90% of people think it’s important to plan for the end of their lives, but only 14% actually get round to it! But recently, following the pandemic, more people realise that planning for the inevitable is essential, as now we are more aware that we cannot know what will happen to us and when. Take a moment from your busy life to think about planning ahead.
Ann Kenrick will lead an informative, entertaining and thought-provoking session outlining key decisions you can make in advance, to ease the burden on your family and friends if you lose mental capacity. Experience shows that planning ahead can really help those that you love and not doing so can cause serious rifts. Apart from vital matters like wills, powers of attorney and funeral arrangements, areas covered will include:
What are Advanced Decisions and Statements and why they are critical ;
What are your digital assets and why it is helpful to consider and record wishes for your legacy;
Why it is crucial to ensure a trusted friend or family member has access to our passwords.
Learn how simple it is to get all of this sorted. Join Ann to embrace this often taboo topic and start your journey towards getting your plan in place. Previous attendees have described the talk as follows: informative, pleasant, thought provoking, knowledgeable, helpful, provocative, thoughtful, eye-opening, humorous, absorbing and entertaining and 99% say they would encourage anyone else to attend.
