Avoid family fall out by making your wishes clear
Help your family at a difficult time
When my mother died suddenly falling downstairs, she left no indication of her wishes. My three siblings and I had different views on where she should be buried. Deciding this alongside dealing with the police, the inquest and everyone’s grief was so challenging that I vowed that my children would not have to endure this.
This trauma could have been avoided entirely had she decided, recorded and communicated her wishes.
